About these ratings

Every Tuesday, the Bon Bini Festival (Bon Bini means "welcome" in Papiamento) attempts to enthrall you in island folk traditions, with lively dancing, colorful costumes, thrumming drums, tasty food and potent drinks. Your level of enjoyment probably depends on your mood. Some vacationers label it a wonderful experience (the show really is lively), but others describe it as an oversold tourist trap (there's only one kiosk for food, and rinky-dink chairs for the performance) -- but for $3 to $10 USD, you will get a taste of Aruban culture.

The Bon Bini Festival takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Fort Zoutman and King Willem III Tower in Oranjestad.
