| About these ratings | ||
Cable Beach isn't the most picturesque waterfront on the Bahamas, but it is well-stocked. Located between Nassau and the airport along New Providence's north coast, the beach is near golf courses, casinos and restaurants. Travelers are also plenty pleased with the view, not to mention all else that Cable offers: "The Islands of the Bahamas have so very much to over, and if you'd like to set up a comfortable home base from which to explore Cable Beach is it," writes one Yahoo! Travel user. "Wonderful beaches, great hotels, close to the airport and a very short trip from downtown."
If you're staying elsewhere in the Bahamas, Cable Beach isn't worth a special trip. But if you're looking for lodging near Nassau, you should definitely consider a Cable Beach hotel. You'll have affordable restaurants and nightlife opportunities nearby, and you'll be able to quickly hop to other New Providence sites. Some of the beach's most popular hotels include the Wyndham Nassau Resort, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Hotel, and the Sandals couple resort.
