| About these ratings | ||
A great choice for those seeking live music, Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture) is built into a hill overlooking the city, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cabo. The area contains a theater, park and a lookout point for great photos of the city.
The building was originally constructed as a refuge for American citizens during the Mexican-American War in the 1840s, and has since turned into a lively showcase of local Mexican culture. For a small entry fee, Casa de la Cultura is also an excellent spot to catch a local concert or theater performance. If you just want to look around, the house and the lookout point are free.
