When to Visit Central Dalmatia

The best time to visitor Central Dalmatia is between June and August, when the coast buzzes with activity, the sun shines strongest and harbors are crammed with gorgeous yachts. This region's peak prices are actually quite reasonable when compared to similar seaside locales, plus it’s Dubrovnik to the south that accepts the most cruise line traffic. The fall and spring shoulder seasons are also good times to visit, but they lack the electric atmosphere of the warm water months. The coast experiences a short hibernation during winter, when some hotels, markets and eateries shut down completely. You will, however, get the best hotel rates at this time.
