| About these ratings | ||
James Joyce, the Irish literatus, famous for beautiful lines like this one from Ulysses, "The heaventree of stars hung with humid nightblue fruit," grew up in Dublin -- and though he lived elsewhere much of his adult life -- his fiction was set in his hometown. The James Joyce Centre, located in a Georgian row house North of the Liffey, is dedicated to the illustrious and controversial writer, offering tours, exhibits and free lectures.
One TripAdvisor user calls it "a must for all Joyce readers," and goes on to say that it's also for those who are a bit confused by the famed author's masterwork, Ulysses. The center also offers tours. For more information on tour times and prices, check the website.
