Antigua Hotel Guide
Most visitors choose to book a mid-price, all-inclusive Antigua hotel near the northwest coast. The resorts in Falmouth and English Harbour are generally smaller, but the scenery is not as pretty as other parts of the island, according to most professional travelers. Keep in mind that prices plummet during the summer when tourism drops; some hotels even close during the off season.
Resorts
A high concentration of sprawling resorts can be found in and around St. John's in northern Antigua. Recent visitors recommend making reservations at Antigua's Yepton Estate Cottages or the Galley Bay Resort, especially as they're close to good sightseeing. You'll find a number of exclusive, more secluded resorts in southern Antigua, such as the well-regarded Antigua Yacht Club Marina Resort, located in Falmouth Harbour.
Other Accommodations
Although resorts rule in Antigua, the island also offers a handful of more affordable inns and bed and breakfasts. Recent guests praise the Inn at English Harbour or the Wind Chimes Inn Antigua in St. John's.
