Best InterContinental Hotels & Resorts

Since opening its first hotel in 1940s, InterContinental has held the title of the world's oldest international hotel brand. These high-end properties—there are more than 150 of them across 65 countries—have welcomed celebrities and dignitaries such as Ava Gardener, Louis Armstrong, President Ronald Reagan, and Britain's Prince William. Because InterContinental properties are individually owned, each exhibits its own distinct personality reflective of its location. However, every property adheres to InterContinental standards, touting luxurious amenities and fine dining establishments. Guests who frequently stay with InterContinental properties can sign up to earn free stays, transportation discounts, and even guided tours through the company's Priority Club Rewards program. Many InterContinental properties have earned spots on our Best Hotels in the USA, Best Hotels in the Caribbean and Best Hotels in Mexico rankings.
