This St. Regis outpost sits within Punta Mita just north of Banderas Bay. The accommodations, which range from 600- to 640-square-foot Deluxe Rooms to the 3,100-square-foot Presidential Villa, feature rustic Mediterranean and Mexican accents, including polished clay floors, handcrafted tiles and natural wood furniture. Along with stylish decor, the rooms also flaunt modern amenities like iHome radios, minibars, flat-screen TVs and complimentary high-speed internet access. You can dine in if you can't bear to leave your digs, but for a change of scenery, head to one of the hotel's five restaurants. Guests say the cuisine  which includes traditional ceviche and empanadas at Sea Breeze Restaurant and duck confit with black truffle at Signature Restaurant Carolina  is superb. Once you're well-fed, have the concierge arrange tee times at one of the two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in Punta Mita. Not a golfer? Leave the kids with La Tortuga Children's Club while you luxuriate at the on-site Remède Spa, sunbathe on the beach or lounge by the three pools. A stay at The St. Regis Punta Mita can get a bit pricey, but thanks to the property's Starwood family ties, Preferred Guest loyalty club members can use their points toward free nights at this property.

After one night here, you won't want to stay anywhere else in Mexico City – at least that's the sentiment of recent guests. Nestled in the historic Paseo de la Reforma – one of the city's trendiest neighborhoods – The St. Regis Mexico City offers breathtaking views, attentive service (including butlers, at your request) and luxurious digs. Beds are topped with Pratesi linens, while the marble bathrooms are outfitted with Remède bath amenities. All rooms boast a spectacular view of the city, but if you want even more panoramic vistas, head to the gym, indoor swimming pool or Remède Spa – all facilities overlook central Mexico City. And though this area of the city affords plenty of delicious restaurant choices, recent visitors suggest staying in for the menu at the J&G Grill. One thing guests weren't as complimentary of: the daily $15 Wi-Fi fee. However, you can save some coin if you're a Starwood Preferred Guest. This member of the Starwood clan allows guests to accrue or redeem points for choosing to stay here.

Although it only opened its doors in 2012, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort has made a lasting impression on Miami Beach visitors. Travelers describe their experiences here as phenomenal, primarily due to the property's attentive staff and prime location. Overlooking the Atlantic from its seat in Bal Harbour (about 8 miles north of South Beach), this member of the St. Regis Hotels family provides a less frenzied setting much appreciated by couples and travelers with children. Guest rooms are spacious and feature pastel hues, five-fixture marble bathrooms and private furnished balconies, as well as high-tech amenities like 46-inch flat-screen TVs with Blu-ray players and iPod docking stations. When you're not bedding down, you can pass the time at one of two outdoor pools, the 14,000-square-foot Remède Spa or the adjacent 1,000-square-foot beach. The resort also features four on-site restaurants, including one with a wine vault. And because The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort resides under the Starwood Hotels umbrella, members of the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program are welcome to cash in points here.

Walking into the lobby of The St. Regis Princeville, you know immediately that you are at the topthe top of the hotel that is. That's where you'll find the lobby, affording jaw-dropping views of the ocean and Kauai's lush coast. Between Hanalei Bay and Kauai's rugged mountains, the resort's stunning location sets this St. Regis property apart from the competition. According to previous visitors, the guest rooms are just as impressive: The St. Regis Princeville forgoes the kitschy tropical decor in favor of decorative accents that touch upon the resort's natural surroundings with rich, earth tone color palettes. Rooms also come with home theater systems, 300-thread-count linens and, in some cases, balconies. The St. Regis Princeville also houses multiple distinct restaurants, all of which use ingredients that have been grown or produced on the island. Another perk? Starwood Preferred Guests can earn or redeem points here for additional stay benefits.

The Phoenician has long set the standard for luxury in the Valley of the Sun. It's not hard to see why. For one thing, the setting is unbelievable – when reserving your room, ask for accommodations with views of Camelback Mountain. Even if those are all booked, recent visitors say that you won't be too disappointed, as all rooms feature elegant furnishings, Italian marble bathrooms and private balconies or patios. (If you're looking for a little more space, opt to stay in one of the elegant Canyon Suites.) This 250-acre Luxury Collection property also boasts a 27-hole championship golf course, a tennis complex, a full-service spa and plenty of restaurants, lounges and snack bars. And did we mention the $25 million art collection on-site? Should you think that all of this is out of your price range, you can cut costs by using the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program to help pick up the tab.

The Palace Hotel first welcomed guests in 1875 as the world's largest and most luxurious hotel. But the earthquake of 1906 destroyed the property; the building that stands now was constructed in 1909. Still, the Palace wins guests over with its historic charm: The lobby draws attention with marble floors and high ceilings, and the guest rooms house more contemporary furnishings (alongside amenities such as high-speed Internet access). But to truly experience the Palace in all its timeless glory, sit down to afternoon tea underneath the glass ceiling and crystal chandeliers of the Garden Court. (For dinner, head to the Pied Piper Bar & Grill, which serves traditional American fare.) There's also a pool and fitness center on-site, perfect for those looking to recharge. Guests love the luxurious interiors and appreciate the cozy guest rooms. The staff also get a thumbs up as well for their warm, welcoming attitudes. What's more, as a member of the Luxury Collection hotel family, the Palace gladly welcomes guests looking to pay with or earn rewards through the Starwood Preferred Guest program.
