Our Take: Recent guests consistenly praise MileNorth (previously the Affinia Chicago) for its stellar location. Steps from the Magnificent Mile and within walking distance to the theatre district, the lake, Navy Pier, and the Tribune Tower, MileNorth is both central and affordable. Guests report that rooms are spacious, comfortable, and contemporary, but suggest requesting a room on one of the upper floors to avoid the disruptive street noise below. Guests also praise the C-View rooftop bar and lounge (open year-round) for its spectacular views of Chicago's lower skyline and its cozy atmosphere.
