Our Take: Bimini Bay Resort & Marina features 374 guestrooms, suites, and luxury villas, not to mention access to two marinas. Located on North Bimini Island, Bimini Bay Resort & Marina sits about 59 miles east of Miami. Each room and suite—designed in a Bahamian architectural style—offers views of the white shoreline and turquoise water, as well as breakfast nooks and kitchenettes. Recent guests agree the spacious, well-equipped digs and the Atlantic-facing, infinity-edge pool, are both welcome perks. Bimini Island also holds a reputation as the bonefish capital of the world. Both amateur and expert anglers can embark on half and full-day fishing trips, which depart from the Bimini Bay Marina daily. If reeling isn't your pastime of choice, you can rent snorkeling, scuba diving, and kayaking gear through the resort.
