Our Take: This downtown Indianapolis outpost gets high marks for its convenient location (Lucas Oil Stadium is accessbile via Skywalk from the hotel) and its charming atmosphere. Occuyping a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, the Canterbury boasts rooms that date back to the 1920s. Though the anitiquated feel sets the hotel apart from its other Indy counterparts, some recent guests say this downtown mainstay is beginning to show its age. Still, Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, free wireless Internet, and a daily afternoon tea, accompanied by piano music, give this historic hotel a four-star status.
