Our Take: The smallest and most intimate of the Pebble Beach Resorts, Casa Palmero is an exquisite, 24-room property along the first and second fairways of the Pebble Beach Golf Links. From the complimentary drinks and appetizers every night to the manicured greenery, the management's attention to detail is evident throughout this palatial Italian villa. And guests claim that the staff bends over backward to fulfill requests, like lighting your room's fireplace each evening. Visitors can use the Beach & Tennis Club, as well as the Spa at Pebble Beach, should they ever feel the need to take a few steps off the premises. Keep in mind that you need to stay at least two nights here or at The Inn at Spanish Bay or The Lodge at Pebble Beach to get a reserved tee time on the course. And be sure to book the tee time when you reserve your room.
