Our Take: Many describe the Casablanca Hotel as a refuge from the City that Never Sleeps—even though it's located in the craziest part of it, Times Square. Although you might have to combat crowds to reach the front door, once inside, you can sip wine by the common area's fireplace in the winter or ascend to the rooftop for cocktails in the summer. And when your stomach starts to rumble, you'll have your pick of delectable Italian fare served at Tony's di Napoli, lighter fare available at Rick's Café, or tasty room service prepared at the adjacent Brooklyn Diner. (Recent guests can't stop raving about the complimentary afternoon tea served at Rick's.) Though previous visitors do caution that the guestrooms lean toward the smaller side, they compliment the top-notch en-suite amenities, which include plush robes, lavish bath products, cable TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
