Our Take: Overlooking Rendezvous Bay—on the western end of Anguilla—the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa offers Mediterranean-inspired accommodations that play off of Anguilla's organic beauty. Every room includes an ocean view, a Bose Wave Music System, a walk-in closet, a marble bathroom, and a private terrace. These scenic rooms range in size from 900 to 7,500 square feet (a quality which recent guests applaud). In addition to the spacious accommodations, the hotel also boasts an infinity pool (extending from the main building to the beach bar) and an 18-hole golf course. For guests who would rather hit the spa than the greens, the full-service Venus Spa offers an expansive menu of unique treatments like the Anguillan Massage and the Warmed Seashell Massage. Aside from the ocean views and relaxing recreation, CuisinArt also prides itself on its hydroponic farm that provides fresh produce to the resort's five restaurants. Though recent guests found little to fault at this idyllic hideaway, they advise making your island trek during high season, when the resort doesn't feel empty.
