Our Take: Located in the far corner Magic Kingdom area of the resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge has an ambience that's reminiscent of the Northwest's national parks. The lobby is built with pine and mammoth stone. Just outside is 56-acres worth of oak and pine trees, never mind a manmade geyser with its own evening light show. The rustic rooms are popular with families—what kid doesn't love bunk beds?—and the Artist Point restaurant's Northwestern seafood, sirloin, and game meat make the eatery one of the park's more popular dinner options. Recent travelers marvel at the lobby's impressive 82-foot fireplace and love the Wilderness Lodge's secluded feel, while others lament how difficult it was to reach other points of interest around the park.
