Once completed, the architect collaborated with an award-winning designer to plan the interior, which blends original period details-like authentic wall paintings, a wooden staircase, and porcelain woodstoves-with modern design elements, such as top-of-the-line bathroom fixtures, custom-made furniture, an outdoor terrace and hanging garden, and a collection of original oil paintings. The result is the most original, comfortable, and elegant hotel in Latvian history: a triumph of great architecture and cutting-edge interior design.
