Our Take: Perched just south of Thomas Circle in downtown D.C., Donovan House earns major props from recent guests for its modern décor, rooftop pool, and mouthwatering Asian fusion cuisine offered at the in-house restaurant, ZENTAN. But those aren't the only reasons to stay here; recent guests are also wowed by Donovan House's central location, situated within walking distance of top attractions, including the White House and the National Mall. Recent visitors also praise the hotel's swanky lobby and sleek accommodations, which feature leather headboards, mini-bars stocked with Dean & Deluca gourmet goods, LCD flat-screen TVS, and plush robes. The only downside, according to some guests, is Donovan House's compact rooms. For additional space, previous visitors suggest springing for a suite.
