Our Take: Although it's a bit of a ways from central Sedona (roughly eight miles), recent guests of the Enchantment Resort loved the peace and quiet afforded by the property's seclusion. Having recently wrapped up a massive renovation, Enchantment's guestrooms and suites combine traditional adobe décor with contemporary amenities like flat-screen TVs and high-speed Internet access. Recent guests appreciate the resort's attention to detail and outstanding customer service, praising the extra efforts made—like having cold orange juice delivered every morning—to ensure a comfortable stay. When you're not hiking through nearby Boynton Canyon or exploring the surrounding Vortexes, take advantage of the resort's outdoor pool, tennis courts, and putting green. For those in need of some serious R&R, the adjoining Mii Amo Spa offers several rooms of its own for a complete spa getaway, as well as treatments inspired by local ingredients. And when you need to refuel, the resort's two gourmet restaurants serve hearty portions created from Verde Valley ingredients like blue corn and prickly pear cactus.
