Our Take: While the Hotel Andaluz may be located in Old Town Albuquerque, there's nothing "old" about it. Sure, you'll find that the hotel's color palate reflects traditional Southwest décor and that the courtyard arches are reminiscent of adobe-style architecture. But these accommodations exude a much more contemporary feel; funky furniture and modern art fill the spacious guestrooms and public areas. Meanwhile, travelers relish the trendy atmosphere at Lucia, the in-house restaurant, and the party-hard atmosphere of Ibiza, the rooftop bar and club. (However, if you're not much of a night owl, recent guests recommend a room on one of the lower floors to avoid Ibiza's after-hours noise.)
