Our Take: This newish hotel in downtown San Diego is, in Kimpton style, ultra-lavish (with a Far East vibe). Its Sè Spa comes complete with a relaxing lounge and its on-site restaurant, Saltbox, receives rave reviews for its farm-to-table food and Prohibition-era cocktails. Guests also enjoy the rooftop infinity-edge pool (with poolside bar) and luxurious in-room amenities, such as rainforest showers.
