Our Take: This trendy see-and-be-seen enclave on the River Walk attracts the hippest (and wealthiest) lodgers. The Vbar and the Citrus restaurant set the chic (and sometimes loud) tone of the property, as beautiful people in beautiful clothes sip beautiful cocktails. The striking modern décor in the guestrooms does not sacrifice comfort or elegance: In the European style, the rooms focus around a very cozy bed. And after a fashionable night out, guests find the Valencia's nightly turndown service (should they request it) to be the perfect, welcoming touch to close the evening. Late-night noise is prevalent, but that comes with the territory.
