Our Take: Unlike the Westin, this Sheraton (formerly the Hyatt Regency) isn't actually inside of the Crown Center, but it is right next door and accessible via an enclosed walkway. Recent guests say the renovations are elevating this once average hotel to its proper four-star status. Recent visitors also say the lodgings are made all the more comfy with the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper™ Bed, and recommend booking a room on one of the upper floors for great views of downtown Kansas City. If you feel like exploring beyond your digs, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the Power & Light District and the Freight House District Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you're a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program, you can earn or redeem points here.
