Our Take: Facing lower Manhattan from across the Hudson River, the Hyatt Regency Jersey City earns high praise for its atmosphere, amenities, and customer service. Guestrooms are large with contemporary furnishings, massive windows and a bevvy of amenities, including wet bars, LCD televisions, and iPod docking stations. The only complaint guests had with the rooms was with the décor: Some wish that the designer had made accommodations more colorful. ) If it's New York vistas that you're after, guests highly recommend a meal at the Hyatt's Vu Restaurant for its entire wall of glass overlooking the Hudson. Previous visitors really appreciate the hotel's proximity to the New Jersey Transit PATH train, which shuttles visitors back and forth between Exchange Place Station in Jersey City and the City that Never Sleeps. And because this hotel belongs to the Hyatt Hotels Group, Gold Passport® loyalty club members can earn or redeem points here. (Note: Due to Superstorm Sandy, the Exchange Place PATH station is currently closed. Until it reopens, the Hyatt Regency Jersey City will provide complimentary shuttle service to the Grove Street PATH station, located four blocks from the hotel.)
