In fact, cruise travelers praise the hotel as a convenient spot to gear up before you set sail, or regain your sea legs after a few days out at sea. However, even if you're not in Fort Lauderdale for a cruise departure, lodgers say the marina locale makes it easy to catch a water taxi to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Despite the location, this Hyatt doesn't escape criticism for its shabby furnishings, $21 self parking fee, and pricey Grille 66 & Bar. Consider hopping aboard a water taxi for more restaurant choices along the marina if you're on a budget.
