Our Take: One of Waikiki's largest hotels, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa covers almost an entire city block with its two 40-story towers. The impressive lobby—located on the second floor—is lush with koa plants climbing the atrium walls and cackling parrots flitting around waterfall fixtures. Travelers praise the spacious rooms, which are richly furnished with tech-lover extras like iHome stereos with iPod docking stations and 32-inch flat-screens TVs. Wi-Fi access is available for an additional fee. Travelers also like the Hyatt's convenient location, close to the Diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach.
