Our Take: There are a lot of Marriotts in Miami, so what makes this one different from the scores of others? According to recent travelers, not a whole lot. Like its sister properties, this one can claim clean rooms and a well-stocked business center, but there are some troubling reports of rude, unhelpful staff. The JW Marriott Miami does have a pretty good location on Brickell Avenue, close to the downtown business area and not a far jaunt from the Intracoastal Waterway (and therefore, Miami Beach). But if your main aim is to use your Marriott points, consider the JW Marriott Marquis on Biscayne Boulevard Way.
