U.S. News Review
If the looks are any indication of this hotel's excellence, we're sold. Lush grounds surrounded by Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, architecture inspired by the best Tuscan designs and hotel rooms resplendent with soft fabrics and sophisticated furniture are all indicative of the luxury found at Keswick Hall and Golf Club. Recent guests are pleased with this hotel's intimate feel (with only 48 rooms, Keswick has a commendable staff-to-guest ratio). Be sure to enjoy afternoon tea at the Villa Crawford, eat dinner at Fossett's Restaurant, and enjoy a nightcap at Fossett's Bar. All three options fare well with recent patrons, but some guests did report hiccups with service for large groups. For a more casual dining experience, retreat to the Palmer Room Restaurant, which also receives two thumbs-up from previous guests. When planning your trip, however, you should keep in mind that this resort is approximately 8 miles west of Charlottesville.
