U.S. News Review
Retro, hip, magical, luxurious — the list of adjectives that recent guests attach to the Parker Palm Springs is long and overwhelmingly positive. From the exterior, the property looks like a classic Palm Springs resort, but inside, guests find themselves among chic furnishings, modern artwork and stylish facilities. Guest-room decor uses white and beige hues as a jumping-off point for bold colors and quirky patters. Rooms and suites are outfitted with private patios or lanais, LCD flat-screen TVs and minibars. The hotel features the Psyc spa and two gourmet eateries that earn guests' praise. However, travelers warn that the room bills are steep and include an unwelcome resort fee. To save on a stay here, consider becoming a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program; though it may not be obvious, Parker Palm Springs is a member of the Le Méridien hotel family. Just a few miles from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) and downtown Palm Springs, the Parker's location is ideal.
