Our Take: You should have no problem securing a spot at this Collins Avenue hotel; it's one of the largest in South Beach, with nearly 800 rooms. But travelers say that the Loews Miami Beach Hotel is far from a last-resort pick. The service is top-notch, the location is convenient (we did say Collins Avenue, right?) and the rooms—though there are many—are fairly large. Along with being spacious, these rooms also feature Chadsworth & Haig robes, LATHER toiletries, Keurig coffee makers, and Egyptian cotton linens. This is also one of the best options for families, as there are day camps for kids, educational activities for teenagers, and lending libraries for checking out games and toys.
