Our Take: Sharing prime Bávaro beach real estate with its sister resort, Majestic Colonial, the Majestic Elegance offers guests an all-inclusive experience complete with live-music venues, children's activities (orchestrated through the Babyland and Pioneers Club program), a medical center, and even wedding facilities. The Majestic Elegance is a relatively new property, having opened in 2008, but some recent guests note that room amenities (like pillows and linens) could use an upgrade. Still, most visitors are pleased with the accommodations, which feature mini-bars, Jacuzzi tubs, and private terraces. Visitors also appreciate the wide variety of things to do on the resort's grounds. The Majestic Elegance boasts a two-story gym, a full service spa, and a 985-foot free form pool, not to mention a whole host of outdoor activities like kayaking and tennis. (Also, the Punta Blanca Golf Course is located nearby). And after you've worked up an appetite, satisfy your hunger at one of the resort's seven on-site restaurants.
