Guests report the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and pinpoint the unobstructed views of either the golf course or the Intracoastal Waterway (offered in almost every room) as the hotel's main allure. But beachgoers should note that the Marina Inn is not an oceanfront property; to get to the beach, you'll need to drive a few miles down Grand Dunes Boulevard. If you get tired of spa treatments and leisure activities on the resort premises, you can take a 10-mile drive south to downtown Myrtle Beach.
