A member of the Occidental Hotels & Resorts family, the all-inclusive Occidental Grand sits on Aruba's northwestern coast. The resort's 380 guestrooms each feature terraces or balconies, Wi-Fi access (for a fee), and in the Premium Jacuzzi Ocean front rooms, Jacuzzis with sea views. Recent visitors did note that rooms feel outdated. Guests can head down to the beach or post up on a chaise lounge by the free-form pool. And when they've had enough relaxation, they can try included activities like kayaking or tennis. The Occidental Grand Aruba Resort boasts seven restaurants to stave off fun-induced hunger. Recent guests appreciate the service at the sit-down establishments like L'Olio and El Olvido, but found the line for the buffet at The Palm could be impossibly long, especially given the mediocre food offerings.
