Our Take: Previous guests praise the rejuvenating and romantic powers of the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, located about 30 miles east of Santa Barbara, Calif. Hosting an 18-hole golf course, several tennis courts, and an award-winning spa, the resort grounds are massive and well-manicured. The staff receives high marks for their quickness and helpfulness. While there are six eateries on site, recent diners say Maravilla is the standout that you'll want to return to again and again. On the other hand, guests do warn that a stay at the resort is worth the price, but the price is hefty.
