Our Take: The Omni William Penn Hotel plays host to a ritzy clientele—John F. Kennedy and Lawrence Welk are just a few noteworthy figures who have stayed here. And its elegant interior, decked with lavish, crystal chandeliers, a piano, and wooden furnishings ooze luxury. The opulent décor extends to the guestrooms, which boast cherrywood furnishings, feather pillows, lavish bath amenities, and flat-screen TVs. Recent visitors do caution that the older AC units can be difficult to adjust, however, they say this slight drawback didn't prevent them from getting a restful night's sleep. When your stomach starts to rumble, venture to one of the three fine dining establishments—The Terrace Room, The Tap Room, and Palm Court—all of which earn high marks from recent patrons. Apart from the tasty eats and old-world charm, recent visitors can't stop raving about the top-notch service here and the convenient location, situated within close range of top attractions.
