Sitting about 20 miles east of Arches National Park, recent guests recommend staying at Utah's Red Cliffs Lodge for the views alone. Nestled alongside the mighty Colorado River and surrounded by the state's famous red cliffs, this hotel offers guests a variety of ways to explore the stunning surroundings, including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, ATV tours and mountain biking. Back at the lodge, you'll have access to an outdoor pool and fitness center, just in case you have some lingering energy. The ranch also includes the Castle Creek Winery and Moab Muesum of Film and Western Heritage. After a long adventure-filled day, recent guests say bedding down at the lodge or in one of the cabins is a treat thanks to the spacious rooms that feature log furniture, fully-stocked kitchenettes, large bathrooms and stunning vistas from the private patios. Many visitors also praise the on-site Cowboy Grill for its hearty cuisine and pleasant staff.
