Our Take: At The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, you might have a hard time deciding where to start: along the resort's soft, coral sands or inside your palatial guestroom. Outfitted with sumptuous feather duvets, plush goose down pillows, and a private balcony, guestrooms serve as a relaxing place to unwind. Activities are tailored to guests' interests and can include a round of golf at the nine-hole golf course designed by Greg Norman, seafood dinners at Blue by Eric Ripert, or a replenishing massage at the Silver Rain Spa. Those who prefer indulging in retail therapy can browse for a souvenir at the on-site Tiffany & Co. boutique. Meanwhile, sun-seekers can stake out a spot on the beach (recent guests recommend renting a private cabana for the day).
