Our Take: Encompassing eight acres of Isla Verde along San Juan's northern coast, The Ritz-Carlton boasts 416 newly renovated rooms accented with luxurious Frette linens, plush terrycloth towels, and goose-down bedding. But believe it or not, the upscale amenities are not what recent guests are raving about. Visitors say that The Ritz-Carlton's impeccable service is what made their stay memorable. But those looking for ultra-luxurious amenities will be happy to find an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, two professional tennis courts, a full-service spa, and an elegant on-site casino at their disposal (along with easy access to El Morro and Puerto Rico's sugary sands). When dinnertime rolls around, placate your appetite with the tantalizing culinary specialties offered at the five sophisticated on-site restaurants.
