Our Take: This Marriott sits near Union Square, about 10 blocks north of its sister hotel, the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Not a ton differentiates the two, but many guests say Union Square is a nice home base for exploring the city. Guests should also keep in mind the expensive cost for parking—about $56 daily for valet, plus tax. Also, no pets are allowed.
