Our Take: Flanked by the crystalline waters of Dickenson Bay in northwest Antigua, this adults-only, all-inclusive Sandals resort caters to couples looking for a romantic retreat. Guests can choose between a cottage in the beachfront Caribbean Grove or a suite at the poolside Mediterranean Village. Either way, they'll find a mahogany four-poster king bed and a flat-screen TV. The resort features an array of bars and eleven restaurants, serving everything from pizza to Tex-Mex to sushi. Sandals' Red Lane Spa offers couples' and singles' massages for those looking to relax. Meanwhile, active retreaters have their pick of a variety of land and water sports. Though most recent guests compliment Sandals' staff's friendliness, some had issues with the resort's non-human visitors: Many recent visitors cite the mosquitoes as particularly fearsome, and others noticed local birds and cats hanging out a little too close to the open-air buffets.
