Our Take: This all-suite hotel, just a block from Key West's lively Duval Street, wins lodgers over with its thoughtful, unique amenities. Some of the most noteworthy include the Dove candies distributed during turn-down service, the Bath & Body Works toiletries, and the wine chillers included in each room. Other in-room amenities include iPod docking stations, complimentary Wi-Fi, and fully-equipped kitchens. Along with the suite amenities, Santa Maria also boasts two swimming pools. Smoothies, bottled water, popsicles, and fresh fruit are all served up poolside. And if you're hankering for something more substantial after snacking all day, head to the on-site restaurant, Ambrosia, for some Japanese eats. Recent guests also say that the hotel's Duval Street location means there are plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance. It's these thoughtful extras and a friendly staff that have many recent visitors wishing they could live here year-round.
