Our Take: It's hard to go wrong with the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel. Sitting on the 16th Street Mall—just a short walk from the Denver Art Museum—this hotel boasts a variety of amenities appreciated by business and leisure travelers alike. Cool off in the outdoor pool before enjoying a gourmet meal at one of three on-site restaurants (not including the lounge and coffee shop). Recent guests also appreciate the spacious rooms, which come decked out in bright red and white décor and feature signature Sweet Sleeper beds. However, some visitors warn that this hotel isn't as luxury-focused as the rest of the Sheraton clan, citing high Internet and parking charges (on top of a rather lofty room rate) and lackluster customer service as reasons to book elsewhere.
