Our Take: THEhotel at Mandalay Bay breaks from the Southeast Asian theme of its affiliated property and neighbor, Mandalay Bay. Instead, this small hotel has ultra-chic and modern furnishings. Recent visitors give the concierge staff high praise and love the overly spacious suites with one and a half baths, perfect for groups. But other travelers complain about the overcrowded pool and limited poolside furniture. Still, THEhotel tries to foster the feeling of exclusivity, with its private entrance, private lobby, and quieter, casino-less atmosphere. This MGM Resorts property sits on the south end of the Strip.
