Our Take: Located near the Wyoming border, the Teton Springs Lodge & Spa is 24 miles northwest of Jackson, Wyo., making this hotel a relatively convenient choice for those looking to explore Jackson Hole. Recent guests love this hotel's mountainous surroundings, not to mention its warm, elegant atmosphere. The lodge's 51 rooms feature heavy wooden furnishings, warm color palates, and luxurious Gilchrist & Soames bath products, not to mention flat-screen TVs and fully-equipped kitchens. However, some guests do complain that 24 miles is a bit far for sightseeing. The obvious solution is to stick around the hotel and take advantage of its on-site amenities, which include a pool, tennis courts, a golf course, the soothing Stillwaters Spa, and the mouthwatering Headwaters Grille.
