Our Take: The Beverly Hilton is a classic, but some say it can't keep up with the newest, hippest hotels of Los Angeles. In fact, it's probably better known as the home of the Golden Globe Awards (which take place annually in the International Ballroom) than it is as a place to spend the night. However, the 569 rooms, which feature plush Venus linens and Peter Thomas Roth bath products, are beyond comfortable and luxurious. You'll find this L.A. standby in Beverly Hills of course, along Wilshire Boulevard.
