Our Take: Home to tennis courts, a spa, and three championship golf courses, this massive resort features just about everything you could need for an exciting Colorado Springs vacation. Located on the southwestern edge of town, The Broadmoor earns praise from guests for its large (albeit aging) rooms—outfitted in floral décor, Sealy® Posturepedic beds, and Molton Brown® bath amenities—and extremely friendly staff. If you have kids in tow, let them burn off some energy on the waterslides or participate in special activities through the children's program. When it's time for dinner, sit down at one of nine on-site eateries, although some recent guests warn of lackluster cuisine. Drinks at the Pool Café, however, are a different story; visitors loved sipping their cocktails poolside while enjoying great views of the Rockies and Cheyenne Lake.
