U.S. News Review

Home to tennis courts, a spa and three championship golf courses, this massive resort features just about everything you could need for an exciting Colorado Springs vacation. Located on the southwestern edge of town, The Broadmoor earns praise from travelers for its large rooms, which are outfitted in floral decor, Sealy Posturepedic beds and Molton Brown bath amenities. Some recent guests note that The Broadmoor is starting to show its age (it's been housing Colorado Springs visitors for more than a century, after all), but that the extremely friendly staff more than makes up for it. If you have kids in tow, let them burn off some energy on the waterslides or participate in special activities through the children's program. When it's time for dinner, sit down at one of multiple on-site eateries. And drinks at the Pool Café earn rave reviews: Visitors loved sipping their cocktails poolside while enjoying great views of the Rockies and Cheyenne Lake.
