Our Take: This Peabody and its ducks aren't nearly as legendary as the hotel in Memphis. But it is a luxurious and convenient choice for both business and leisure travelers in Little Rock, Ark. Located in the downtown area, the hotel is convenient to top sights like the William J. Clinton Presidential Library & Museum and the Governor's Mansion (which you TV trivia buffs might recognize as Suzanne Sugarbaker's home in Designing Women). Plus, it's less than a 15-minute drive from the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT). Because of the hotel's convienent location, recent guests suggest foregoing a car rental, especially since the on-site parking is valet only. Another big draw for visitors? The twice-daily duck march. If you're interested in seeing this Peabody tradition, Arkansas style, head to the lobby fountain area at either 11 a.m. or 5 p.m. Some recent guests say the time-honored duck parade was about the only charming aspect of this outdated Peabody outpost.
