Our Take: Owning the best address in the city, The Rittenhouse Hotel has long been the standard against which to measure Philly's other luxury hotels. Recent guests marvel at the grandeur of the property, as seen when looking from the outside in (at the gorgeous wood-paneled lobby) or gazing from the inside out (from one of the guestroom windows down to the picturesque, tree-lined street). On the premises, you'll find the Adolf Biecker Spa & Salon, a health club, a pool, and three varied dining venues to complete the cosmopolitan paradise. And then there's the stylish accommodations: Rooms come furnished with sumptuous duvets, an oversized tubs, marble bathrooms equipped with deluxe bath products, and 42-inch flat-screen TVs.
