Our Take: The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale does not disappoint. The hotel's modern décor is accented by crisp cream and warm brown colors, the lobby is crafted out of gorgeous marble, high-tech gadgetry is everywhere, and private balconies adjoin every guestroom. Along with the Atlantic Ocean views, rooms also boast 400-thread-count Frette linens, 37-inch flat-screen TVs, and spacious marble baths. Guests praise the Ritz's luxurious décor and posh perks like poolside lobster wraps. But there are two points all reviewers seem to agree on: Both the beachfront location and the stellar service staff receive high praise across the board.
