U.S. News Review

The five-star Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami is pleasantly decorated, pleasantly staffed and pleasantly placed. It's true that the barrier outpost of Key Biscayne is a bit removed from Miami's activity, but the resort is close to area sights like the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park or the isle's Miami Seaquarium. On the hotel grounds, you'll find two cabana-laced heated outdoor pools, the romantically lit Cioppino restaurant (and three other on-site dining options) and the tranquil Ritz' spa — an ideal venue for a little extra R&R. And recently, this member of the Ritz-Carlton hotel group upped the ante with a renovation of its 490 guest rooms and suites. Accommodations are now bright and sunny with tropical decor, plush fabrics, custom furnishings and ample space for lounging. Recent guests highly recommend specifically requesting an ocean-view room when booking; otherwise, you may be gazing out over the parking lot. No matter which room you stay in, you'll find it equipped with amenities like Frette linens, mother-of-pearl bathroom vanities, LCD flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations.

Critic Reviews

Travel + Leisure

“Hands down, the Ritz-Carlton is Miami's best full-service resort, with tropical gardens, a tennis center, a 20,000-square-foot spa, kids' programs, and a pristine beach.”
Award: Travel + Leisure 500 World's Best Hotels 2015

“The property's four eateries take you through the gastronomy and beverages of Cuba (RUMBAR), Mexico (Cantina Beach), Italy (Cioppino), and back to Miami (Dune Oceanfront Burger Lounge).”

“In addition to superior services and amenities, this British colonial-style version of the Ritz rises above its casual Key Biscayne surroundings, with a stellar view of the Atlantic Ocean, not to mention an equally impressive 20,000-square-foot spa.”
Award: Frommer's Exceptional
