Our Take: As is the norm with a Ritz hotel, this Grande Lakes variant pleases guests with its well-appointed rooms and fantastic customer service. Any of its 582 rooms feature private balconies, marble baths (with two sinks), iPod docking stations, and European toiletries. Outside, you'll find an 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed golf course and enjoy access to the pools and massive lazy river at the neighboring JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes (the two resorts share grounds and activities). Craving more quiet relaxation than the kid-congested river can offer? Head to the Ritz's 40,000-square-foot spa, which boasts 40 treatment rooms and citrus-inspired treatments. And when it's time to refuel, the Ritz features 11 on-site restaurants, offering everything from casual al fresco eats to more formal steakhouse dining. If you're having trouble booking a spot in the ultra-exclusive, ultra-expensive, Ritz, consider giving the JW Marriott a try.
